So, is that real Zip-a-tone you're using, or are you tweaking the tones in Photoshop? I am long time user of Zip and duo-shade board, but both techniques have slowly died off.

Great black and white artwork, the inking gives it a classic look (if that makes any sense)

DOGBOY443: I use Zip on the computer. I used to use it the old fashioned way. It's certainly easier now!

COMIKXGUY: Cheers to next year!

BENTON: Thanks. Reminds me a bit of an Alan Moore book!

DP.,
I just started re-using Digital Zip too. I just did a Fiend WIthout A Face piece for movie producer Richard Gordon, and I thought the piece needed some Zip, but where to find it? I launched FreeHand (remember that favored software?) and made a picture box and filled it with a FreeHand pattern. It comes with a good assortment of patterns. Saved it as an .eps and then when I opened it in Photoshop, I was able to drop it in, erase, cut, remove...it was easy and fun too.

Hi,

I just have tyo say I really liked the art in this issue.

I always hope the book will end up sticking with a regular artist, and I hop it's you.

You breathe life, stamina and fun in the characters.

Best,

Jimmy
