Strange Girl

A friend of mine, Rick Remender, asked me to draw a pin up for the first issue of his Image comic book, Strange Girl. The book has really taken off and is a lot of fun to read and look at.

Big ears and man hands! What a combination! I wanted her to look awkward and sexy at the same time...! Funny!

Thanks Kristen and Diana!
I love seeing work close ups! So much detail is lost when stuff shrinks.

Which Soap Opera actress, BTW?

The soap opera actress I'm thinking of is Alexis Thorpe, who used to be on "Days of our Lives" and "The Young and the Restless." Here's a link to a picture: http://dailyceleb.com/thumbs/tn.DC.89966.jpg

Dang! That link won't work for me but I did an image search and I see what you mean to some degree. Strange Girl doesn't seem as well endowed as Alexis though... ;)

Hmm, if you just copy and paste the link into a new window, it should work. I tried to find the photo that most resembles Strange Girl.

LOL about Strange Girl being less well-endowed. Well, I'm sure she can kick more ass without all that junk in the top trunk, and that's all that matters--kicking ass. :P

Well, I tried that and for some reason my Mozilla Firefox browser wouldn't allow it. Oh well. I did find some images of her. Thanks.
