Monkey Village Madness!

Here's a video game background art design! It's from a Kung Fu Animal game by Dreamworks. Each Animal Style had a home environment but the Monkey Village was by far the most fun to design.

Escher? I've never heard of him. Did he draw Justice League in the 80's? LOL!

Thanks for the compliments!

I always suspected M.C. Escher was raised by Kung Fu practicing monkeys.

I keep seeing escher comments. However the first thing I thought (besides Rad) was, 'Feels a bit like Moebius.'

Definitly has a european comic feel too it.

Quite lovely.

Great execution. I'm guessing you had probably put on your favorite cd and set it to 'repeat' for this piece.

Tree top villages are great.
