dusk

Someone's a bit sleepy... Or perhaps has a bit of a devilish idea or two. Just a color sketch for no reason at all. Thought I'd color it up and play with the hues. That's just how I am these days. Carefree and casual. Click on the pic and see for yourself...

In any language, your art rocks! :)

Vielen Dank! Ich bin sicher alle Übersetzungen durch google mangeln die Würde von ihren spezifischen Dialekten. Haben Sie je Deutsch versucht?

I'm sad to report that this may be young Panosian's last entry. Tomorrow, he has a date with destiny... a dance with the devil... a trip to the mountain top, if you will. Survival is unlikely. Pain is guaranteed.

Urban Barbarian said...

All of what the Rural Barbarian has spoken of has come to pass! I walk in pain after my Gold's Gym Venice Beach experience!

Between my blasted marathon training and this gym nonsense I may not survive my next blog post!!!

The Panosian put up a valiant effort and still possesses barbarian-like biceps. I believe he will return...

...but that is another story.

Wow.
I had no idea what to expect when I clicked on the link to your blog. I'm only familiar with your Marvel work from way back. Dude, you got GOOD. There's so much personality in your work now, you've really come into your own.
You have a new fan. I'll be checking back regularly.

MIKE: Thanks! I seem to get that reaction quite a bit these days, so I guess that's a good thing. I keep trying to improve.
STEPHEN: Much appreciated. I enjoy this sort of work more and more.
CDEBODA: "hawt"? I love that! Thanks!

Perhaps your talent INCREASES as your strength DECREASES? I have obvioulsy made my choice.

bueno, lo mio es en castellano.
Muy buenos trabajos, manejas muchos estilos, muy buen trabajo.

Where are you being published these days? would love to check what you're doing.

Urban Barbarian said...

MIKE: Mostly I do advertising work but there is a book called 24/SEVEN published by Image I just did a short story for. The book is similar to Flight except it's all robot related.

Also, that Pirate Tales cover below is published by Boom! Studios. I've been doing little things here and there and I'd like to get back into the business a bit more.

Things have a way of working out if they're supposed to. In the meantime I'm illustrating a Spiderman 3 Children's book which is challenging to say the least!

Thanks PassionGreek! I married a beautiful Greek girl! The fates must of smiled at me!

Thanks for stopping by my blog Dan. The kind comments are greatly appreciated. I've been drawing a lot lately and will have stuff to post soon, so please check back. I'll be doing the same.

The barbarian in me hopes that Panosian's lack of recent updates is due to his renewed commitment to the art of iron. No time for that drawing nonsense, I pray.

Really nice blog. Surely be back for more.

Thanks Guys! and even you - Rural Barbarian!
