ALINA: Thanks! An outline or brush stroke can really deliver an attitude or emotion and can evoke a specific reaction from the viewer. I really strive for fluid/instinctual and confident lines in my work. I'm also balancing thin lines with thick ones. To me, thin lines bunched together create delicate greytones. Thick ones create a bold emphasis. Balancing the two of them together creates harmony within an illustration.

END: LOL! Thanks! No, it's done with markers and soft pencil. I scanned it in and then changed the Hue to a color. I'm fancy like that!
