Cutting Edge

Nice title, eh? You can't go through a meeting without hearing those words - but this is one instance where the title actually suits the material!

Kick ass style, Dan!

Bill's on to something: Graf is kind of giving me a "come hither" look. It's like he's undressing me with his eyes.

Maybe it's my monitor...

Urban Barbarian said...

It's not your monitor Aaron. I specifically designed him that way.

Go with it.

DINTOONS said...

awe-inspiring set of illos! its great how you've posed them against the muted BG... super-contrast! do post some roughs and sketches of these!

Urban Barbarian said...

I don't really have too many sketches. I just sort of drew them straight away and went immediately to color [ all on the Cintiq ]. The BG was done the same way.

But thanks for the interest! Much appreciated!

Great work - very cool backdrops! Brik is my favourite - I can visualise a strong Austrian accent - though that may be too much tv on my part! Super

Urban Barbarian said...

HOWARD: Thanks amigo!

MARK [SURFER JOE]:Yeowch! I was worried for a second there!

KELSEY: I think I've seen both you and Lesean do that at times!

GREG: Exactly!

LINTON: appreciated!

PAUL: Thanks!

ROB/TIM: Thanks and th Austrian accent might somehow work... ;)

Brian said...

kick. ass.

Brian said...

Is Cutting Edge one of your own properties?

Urban Barbarian said...

BRIAN: Thanks Brian. Colors, these days, makes all the difference for me.

BRIAN2: It is indeed. It started off as a project for a friend but he was interested in a more realistic approach. But I liked these designs and came up with a title and original story that fits, etc. Why let it go to waste, eh?
