Mark Waid's new Boom Studio's book Irredeemable is out and I've been drawing some of the covers. The latest one on the stands is a bit of a departure for me. I went to town on the modeling, sorta like I did with that Red Sonja cover a while back. It's fun, but takes forever! But, I'm very happy with the results. Hopefully doing work like this will push me to take more chances. We'll see, eh?

I like them! The top one looks a long like Yang Zi or whatever that actress's name is.
WOW! I love all the decorative line drawing on the top piece. My head would have exploded just trying to think that up.
The Barbarian strikes again! Great job! I love the staging on the second one.
Excellent Covers Dan. My girl friend Jaclyn, sitting with me gives you a big thumbs up for that first one for sure.
