Toy Design! Duku style! These type of toys are called Super Deformed by the industry folk. I wonder why...?
Also- I'm all excited I recieved a Three Thumbs Up Award. Now I have a nifty TTUA icon on my blog and a great bundle of assorted Photoshop Goodies to put to use. Thanks Vonster!

I have been starring at this thing trying to figure out what might make it considered deformed. Then it hit me, I think his head is a bit large.
But I don't know, maybe he has a face growing on his back or something. It's hard to tell with that robe.
Hahaha! Great Dan! Very very nice! I like!!!
JESSE: That could be it... I'll look at it again.
DONALD: I'm going to find some of the others and put them up to.
I like it man! I especially like the heavy inking on this one--very solid!
Dan;
Great stuff again! I am a big fan of your work and love the variety of stuff on your blog. Very inspirational!
Rob
Beautiful piece! I don't think I've seen anything here yet that is less than terrific...and congrats on the Three Thumbs Up award!
Thanks Rob! glad you dug it!
And Chrissie, I just checked out your blog! I really like the "violet" illustration! Wow!
Congrats!!! You deserve it, your work is amazing. I check your site regularly.
Awesome! SD is a term which rose from Anime and Manga, usually referring to a simplified, bigheaded/small bodied version of a character.
CARLOS - Thanks! Love your digital painted work! Great subject matter! Especially dig the deer portrait.
ZoMBI - Thanks and I was just sort of kidding around about why they call them SD. That huge head sort of gives it away. But thanks for the explanation for those who aren't hip to the skip.
Thanks for your comment on "Blogarians"!
I really digg your stuff!
yeah man your stuff rocks!, makes me want to pick up my sketchbook. truue.
Thanks guys! It's a pleasure to find groups like yours. Always pushing and encouraging each other! I look forward to more of your art!
I like that random squiggly line shadow on his face. Congrats on the Three Thumb Award!
Thanks Kristen! That's my favorite aspect of the drawing too. I had to do around 15 of these a day so trusting my first instincts was a key part of getting the job done. Happy accidents!
This is crazy good!!
