More Sketchiness

Well lookee, lookee - more sketches. You'll have to click on the first one again once it loads, because of the way I cropped it. Otherwise, the precious detail won't show. And that would be a terrible thing.

Hey, great last couple of recent posts here! Nice subject matter! If you feel like posting more of these kinds of images...I wouldn't mind that at all.

Me? I think you've really got something with this pen/pencil technique. I love the transformation your art has gone through over the past 2 or 3 years, and this current style you're using for figure drawings are really putting all of your tools to work. Fantastic!

Love the crawling pose, and great job on the quick shading. Beautiful!

And after looking through the comments on the last post, I guess I was mistaken in the item used on said shading. I think the red color made me assume it was a Conté crayon. I stand corrected!

Although, I'm sure you could do a killer piece with some Crayolas...

nice drawings!! beautiful rendering of shade and light!

ALL: Thanks! I'm really having fun at these Drink and Draw sketch sessions!

TONY C: Well, it does look a lot like Conte Crayon when I change the Hue and Saturation. That's actaully the effect I'm going for! Although ComixGuy might indeed be on to something with the Crayola's! I may just give it a whirl. Glad you dig them!

Dude, it's beautiful-who is she? When do I get to draw her?;) How's things on JS coming?

SURFER JOE: Her name is Heather and she's a model in LA. Does a lot of these drawing sessions. JS is moving at a rabid pace! ;)
