I love this!!! What did you use to ink this image? brush? pen? I really like the marks that were made. Definitely captures that "old" style.

MARK: Thanks amigo!

RATCRTUR: I use a Staedtler Mars Graphic 3000 Brush Pen. It's the closest thing I've found that performs like a real brush.

I'm a fan of brush pens, but I still work all digitally. Even less cleanup!

I dig the image; did you color it or a third party?

RAY: You get a great line digitally. I would of never guessed that from your work. It has a real nice brush feel to it. And it doesn't look mechanical at all.

Yes, I colored it too. I spend more time coloring than I do inking.

my elementary school was alem and discontinued the crime solving classes before I got there. Something about the principal wanting to take over the world and not wanting some 4th grader thwarting his plans.

TOTALLY unfair.

Kolchak and Holmes...Now THERE'S a team up that doesn't immediately come to mind. Nice work!

I really enjoyed the way you rendered this piece. While i enjoy the modern comic art i sorta miss this particular style.
