Ouah ! Your art is great ! I like these cards; they are amazing and the character are modern and terrific! That was an honnor for me to receive you on my blog. As we say in France: Respect .
Man, these are beautiful!!! I banished my copic markers some years ago, but seeing your sketches makes me rethink. I really dig your beautiful line and the subtle face expressions!
Wow! Those kick @$$. Seriously, your experience is showing. Better lower the bar a bit or you'll always be expected to produce like that (and you're gonna make it tough on the other artists).
JOHN: Thanks! I'm doing some test work for Marvel very soon. Depending on when I get a book over there I would be thrilled to work with you. Very impressive coloring!
HARPER: Thanks! I gots a thing for the barbarian/Norse stuff it would seem! I know you're a barbarian deep down too!
MATT: I dunno, those Copics make it look easy! They're very watercolory which makes for some nice transitions, etc. You should pick up a small set. They're great for comps.
COMIKXGUY: Frank is the Loki of comics! Except one this plane, he is never defeated! I appreciate the BWS reference too! Ha! Also, I've worked it out so that you can type in www.urbanbarbarian.com and you'll automatically be directed to my blog. So thanks for finding that for me but I think I'll stick with this since I'm already linked to other blogs with the present web address. I'll have to draw you a sketch at the SDCC! Thanks!
SEDYAS: No, you're the man!
FABIO/TEVIK/BENTON/GDEO: Thanks! Thanks! Thanks and thanks!
BILL: Actually, I get a nice rate for these. They took about 10-12 minutes a piece. Come to think about it - I wish I could do these for a living!
I've found your blog through Messina's. He showed me during lesson at school (he's my teacher in a comic's school). I just want to say that your arts are inspiring and amazing, i wish someday i could become a great artist like you!
:")
Sorry for my english, i'm not used with it so it may be a bit rusty!
